Obama to Iran: Nuclear deal would bring “brighter future”:
President Obama urged the Iranian people on Thursday to seize the chance to broker a nuclear deal with the U.S. and the international community, saying 2015 presents “the best opportunity in decades to pursue a different future between our countries.”
How are we supposed to gauge the honesty and integrity of anyone or any country we deal with, whether on a personal level, social level, business level or political level? By their continued commitment and sincerity.
If I did business with anyone that repeatedly reneged on their obligation, continually and deliberately lied ; how should I evaluate that person? Not very trustworthy.
How many times does someone have to bit in the ass before they catch on?
I am not 100% sure what Mr. Obama’s motivations are trying strike a deal with Iran. On the surface I know what it should consist of; not allowing Iran to develop a nuclear weapon.
For the free world to sanction Iran and agree to allow them to develop these weapons will be a gigantic mistake. Don’t forget that we are talking about the people that have the mentality that blowing themselves up in the name of their god is an great achievement.
Iran’s leaders have burned the USA and just about every other country in the world so many times it is outrageous.
Let us not forget that Iran happens to be the biggest source for developing terrorism in the world. Is that a country that can be trusted?
Old saying; a person is only as good as their word!!
It would be one of the best arrangement ever brokered if all parties concerned would be up front, forthright and abide by all arrangements. Iran’s track record does not demonstrate that.
The USA has to start playing hardball when negotiating with our known enemies instead of continually capitulating.
Sad but true; fear and respect go hand in hand. If an opponent is not fearful of the other person, in most case have won the battle before it begins. This mindset is not something this administration has grasped yet and never will.
We have to start setting demands instead of constantly making the peace offering. Look at the end result; it hasn’t worked yet and never will.
Keep your eye on the hog and your finger on the trigger.
