Government pays to house poor in luxury apartments with pools, wine cellars:
One thing we can say about our government; it sure goes first class on the taxpayers dime. They are now putting people up in luxury hotels because of housing shortages.
Where is the incentive for these people to go out and get a job to support themselves?
It is not bad enough that the government is supporting the freeloaders that do not need government assistance; now they are being housed in luxury apartments.
If the government got everyone off of government assistance that didn’t belong there; there would be 50 times more available living areas than they have already.
Some welfare recipients are being housed at Verde Point that has been described as a luxury apartment complex with a rooftop pool and personal wine storage and the taxpayers are picking up the tab.
I can just see the condition of these facilities after 4 months.
Will there ever be an end to the incompetence of operating our government? It has been going on for so long that it has become part of day to day operations.
This scenario has to be just the tip of the iceberg.
Another luxury apartment complex in Virginia called The Gramercy affords the residence of using the massage room and sauna and clubroom with bar. If that does not meet their standards they have access to a first-class sports club, theater/screening room and computer room.
In some cases the residence have even had someone come to their rooms for an in room manicure.
To all of you foolish people out there as I am who have worked every day of our adult life, I am sure that you are ecstatic in knowing that your hard earned tax dollars are so hard at work.
I mentioned this in another post I did recently. A women that was put up in one of these luxury hotels was asked by a reporter how she liked living where she was. She said that it was OK but the room service was kind of slow.
Does anyone but me see anything wrong with this picture???
