Drive from Europe to the U.S.? Russia proposes world’s greatest superhighway:

When Adolf Hitler helped design the Autobahn he thought they had a hell of a highway.

If Russia’s very aggressive plans go through, they are proposing to build a highway that links Europe and the North American together. It will make the famous German roadway look like an alley.

The road would run across the entirety of Russia, linking with existing road systems in Western Europe and Asia.

The distance between Russia’s western and eastern borders is roughly 10,000 kilometers (6,200 miles).

If and when; one of the major drawbacks I see is the easy access into the USA for terrorists, smugglers and other undesirables, that is inevitable.

The 64 dollar question is always paramount; who is going to pay the trillion dollar plus tab? NYD – not yet determined.

It is great to think big but this one is a doozy.

Is it possible that whomever came up with this behemoth of an idea were sipping on  on a few bottles of Russian Nectar?
