VA hospital chief draws $179G salary despite missing 80 days over 1 year:

When is the last time we have seen anyone fired from a government job?? Last one I heard of was a guy that put a gouge in George’s boat when he was crossing the Delaware.

So what’s new? DeWayne is a government employee and will most probably get a promotion and transferred to a different department to hide him.

DeWayne Hamlin, one of the top dogs at the VA’s Puerto Rico hospital and was absent from the hospital some 80 days in a one-year period, according to documents obtained by the Washington Examiner.

This under-worked, over-paid employee of the government makes $179,700.  Not bad pay for a guy that was AWOL from the hospital approximately one in three business days last year.

At times Hamlin has been suspected of being smashed on the job when fellow workers smelled booze on the chap’s breath. Naturally he refused to take a breathalyzer test.

The $179,700.00 Old DeWayne makes is a drop in the bucket compared to all the other unnecessary money Uncle Sam and friends piss away.
