GUILTY AS SIN:
Aaron Hernandez, Ex-Patriots Star, Convicted Of Murder Of Odin Lloyd
Was there ever any doubt?
Her Honoress Judge E. Susan Garsh sentenced Hernandez, the former grid-iron star, to life without the possibility of parole for killing one of his rappies Odin Lloyd on June 17, 2013. Nice to have such close friends.
Hernandez will fall right into a prison routing just like so many of the other super-stars that get sent to the slams because they could not handle their stardom and success.
One of the many problems associated in getting sent up; when there is a newcomer, especially a celeb comes through the main gate, there are a lot of the prisoners that want to try them out so could make a name for themselves by kicking their ass.
It is my understanding that John Gotti had to hire the Aryan Brotherhood to protect him while he was in the can because he was getting his jaw jacked on a regular basis.
I won’t know it was the same person.
Hernandez will go from wearing 1,000.00 suits, making millions a year, partying his little ass off, to wearing a state issued pinstriped suit, stamping out license plates and splitting a diet coke with his cell mate. Just doesn’t add up.
The hype that these super-studs receive from all the media, all the attention they get from the opposite sex, all the coins they have at their disposal, eventually leads to their demise. Too much too soon. They start believing just how special people say they are.
Then we have the ones that are just bad apples from the time their mothers popped then onto this earth. They want to be gangsters from when they were kids and make a name for themselves. They are not satisfied I being an ordinary law-abiding citizen.
It is too bad that some of these brilliant athletes go down the road to self-destruction. If they would have played by the rules, they could have made a great contribution to society , their sport and could have been a good role model for the kids out there that idolized them.
The only winners in these sad tales are the ambulance chasers. I am sure that if the law permits, they will be making as many appeals as they can over the years.
