Amtrak Engineer Investigated After Derailment:
I can’t remember what I did yesterday. If I can’t remember what I did yesterday, can I be held responsible for what I can’t remember? Or do I have to accept what other people told me I did?
Saying that one cannot remember can go either way, for or against the person. How can I dispute the fact if someone tells me I shot someone if I can’t remember?
What we may have with Brandon Bostian the engineer in the supposed train accident in Philly is; perhaps Brandon wanted to do a suicide by train and take a lot of people with him, just like the wack job pilot in the German air disaster.
Ever since the accident Bostian has maintained a tight lip and claims he cannot remember anything. I don’t know if I believe him or not. I have a strong suspicion that there may be a few boards loose in this guy’s attic.
Eight people were killed in the accident. Bostian could face criminal charges if law enforcement can prove that he was reckless or negligent.
The suggested speed for the area the train wrecked is supposed to be 50 miles an hour but when the accident happened it was going 106 miles mph.
I would hate to think that this guy is just one more nut case that has a very responsible position and controls the lives of multiple people in his care. With all that is going on today; no one really knows who or what is safe anymore.
My suggestions is; never trust anyone and only travel commercially if it is necessary.
