There is a saying in Italian that goes;  quando sono gli idioti mai impareranno / when are the idiots ever going to learn?

Remember where you heard about the potential dangers of allowing non-military drones to be flown by anyone at anytime, anywhere. I have written 3 or 4 posts on it already.

There has been a very big influx of drones being flown by hobbyist in all parts of the country as the new craze is catching on. In my opinion this craze should be put to bed and right away!!

The heads of our government, city, state and federal have not yet grasped the severity of the situation when drones are allowed to fly in what should be considered sensitive areas like the Golden Gate Bridge.

From what I understand, the Golden Gate bridge has seen the number of drones being flown there escalate dramatically. It is time for some drastic action to be taken before one of them drops a package on the landmark.

What would it take for one of the hundreds a month that are flown around the bridge to be loaded with explosives? Not much.

This same scenario can be played out in thousands of high security places around the country and the world that are sitting ducks.

I have to say that I am very surprised that some terrorists’ organization has made their big move yet.

Last month in Japan:

TOKYO (AP) — Japanese authorities were investigating Wednesday after a small drone reportedly containing traces of radiation was found on the roof of the prime minister’s office, sparking concerns about drones and their possible use for terrorist attacks. Hello fools.

The professional procrastinators will wait until something drastic happens before making a move.  There always has to be a national tragedy occur before anyone opens their eyes and the politicians see the danger in drones and ban them. Any other drones that are identified as non-military should be shot down.

I am going to make this as simple as possible so some of our leaders can comprehend what I am trying to convey to them.

What is more important fellas; Joe Blow having fun on a Sunday afternoon flying his drone in the park – Amazon delivering some nitwit a DVD that he needed in under 30 minutes – getting a pizza with everything on it to a customer that is too lazy to get off his fat ass and go get it; or national security?  I hate to hear some of the answers.  The way I see it, the question need not be answered.

I am anxious to see just how long it will take before I have to say; I told you so, something I don’t want to do.
