The demise of the Duggars

All that glitters is not golden:

From the first time I watched their program I knew it was impossible for any one family to be so squeaky clean. It is just not normal; especially after being brought up in an Italian family where fists are flying on a regular basis.

There are 3 words that are absent in the Duggar’s interview on Fox News and The Kelly File program; we are sorry.

In the first few minutes of the interview Pa Pa Duggar used the term; taken care of 4 times. That in itself can be suspiciously interrupted and have many different connotations; such as, suppressed – covered up – swept under the carpet – paid someone off to keep quiet – etc.. Issues like this should not be taken care of, especially where young kids are involved. They must suffer the consequences for their actions regardless of who they are.

The Duggar’s did not what the fact that their son Josh molested 5 girls, a couple of them being his sisters, when he was 15 years old be public information. I can understand that but on the other side of the coin, keeping something concealed that is so severe when they are supposed to represent the perfect family. I call gross deception.

Like many other incidents in colleges, churches  and other institutions where pedophilia or child molestation took place, it was kept a secret for the sake of the dollar.

Splitting hairs seems to be one of Pa Pa Duggar’s fortes. He focused on the fact that a person has to be 16 years old to be considered a pedophile.  In that case we can just refer to his kid as a child molester!  Child molested – pedophile, the same thing as far as I am concerned.

Pa Pa Duggar brought up God a time or two alluding to the fact that God forgave Josh for what he did.  This guy has more power than I thought; he must have a direct line to the BIG GUY. I wonder if he calls collect?

People can say what they want but God does not condone this type of act. Does he forgive it; who really knows.  No one has ever come back from the dead to give a report that I know of.

The only proof these spiritual junkies have is blind faith. Faith and proof are two different elements.  Blind faith and 4.00 gets a cup a java at Starbucks.

The molestations happened when Josh was 15 years old and his criminal records were supposed to be sealed. Because there was a leak, the Duggars that are now unemployed, are considering suing the judge and the city for leaking the information. They are assuming the judge has an axe to grind with them.

They sound like very vindictive people to me instead of all forgiving Christians they portrayed themselves to be. The espouse to forgiveness on a regular basis, so they should practice what they preach. I think that the crux of this entire issue with the public is the credibility of the Duggars. It doesn’t hold water.

The Ma Ma And Pa Pa Duggar do not consider their son a pedophile. If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and behaves like a duck; it certainly is not a rabbit.

I can’t tell if they are waving hello or goodbye??

So much emphasis is put on POOR Josh and very little sympathy is slanted toward the girls that he molested.

In my opinion; this entire interview was orchestrated and rehearsed to salvage their multi-million dollar meal ticket.

I knew a girl that was molested at a very young age and one of her parents did everything they could to conceal the incidents. That in itself hurt that kid more than the molestation did. Personally I have very little regard for the Duggar parents.

I never hold anyone responsible for what one of their family members may have done. What I do hold a person accountable for is trying to defend a person’s unlawful actions or try to minimize them.

Being sexually molested, especially as young kid has to be one of the most traumatic things that can ever happen to them. It haunts them the rest of their life and chances are the molester goes on their merry way like nothing ever happened.

Should it be the Duggars final curtain call?  Absolutely yes. They have to pay the price for their deception and minimizing the situation.

I recent times we have witnessed other notable celebs attempting to deceive the public and they have been shown the exit door. The Duggars should not be the exception.

It is sad that the entire family has to suffer because of the actions of one of their kids. How could they possibly ever come back on the air and try to maintain the same type of persona? They can not be believable anymore.
