House Slashes $242 Million From Amtrak’s Budget:

According to sources in the know, the USA gave away 37 billion in 2013 to foreign countries. That was 2 years ago; I am sure the numbers are a lot great now.

How should anyone that reads this supposed to interrupt it?

My question is (I already know the answer); what is more important to the DC Dudes, the safety and wellbeing of the American people or funding foreign countries; some of which are using their gifts to buy weapons and support terrorism against the USA. I guess the answer to the question is very clear.

It never has and never will make sense to me why charity does not begin at home.

The real corker in our benevolent giveaways; most of the funds we send in aid never get to its intended source. The political crooks in those countries gobble it up as soon as the wire transfer hits the bank.

Example: In Haiti only 10% of the billions we sent to aid their country after the earthquake never got to victims.  It is obvious; politicians in all countries are born without a heart.

Recently there was a train wreck in Philly that killed 8 people and hospitalized 200.
One of the conclusions of a study done years before the accident was that our rail systems in the USA are maybe as good as in some 3rd world countries. If we keep going in the same direction we are going to start looking like India.

What do our illustrious politicians do; instead of earmarking funds to repair the rail system to bring it up to par and make it safe, they cut 242 million from its budget. Makes a lot of sense to me!!!!

This is just one of the 1000’s of example of how our leaders are ignoring the decaying infrastructure in this country. I have no idea what is in between their ears if anything.
