Putting it in very simple terms; King James was fed to the lions last night.
He certainly did not play up to par. I thought he could have shot the ball many more times than he did; quite a few of the shots he made missed their target.
The Cave had one super star and a half of a backup – Golden State had one super star and 3 back-ups. Those were the determining factors.
It is a real shame that any team gets that far in their long gruelling season and has to walk away empty handed.
The Caves gave it a valid effort; if they were are full strength I think that could have thrown Golden State off of their bridge.
Better luck next year Cavs and LeBron. I think his consolation compensation of 21.5 million a year (just in payroll) will help the big guy will help heal his wounds.
I still did not approve of his self-praise statement that he is the best in the world.
There is a very thin line between confidence and conceit and I don’t think that James has found it.
That just goes to show us; if anyone thinks they are the whole team or the whole company, they are sorely mistaken. Without the grunts on the front lines making the heroes look good, the big boys on top are just another run of the mill chest beater.
