Obama Uses N-Word, Says Slavery Still ‘Casts a Long Shadow’
Mr. O gets down and dirty.
In an interview he gave yesterday Mr. O dropped the word nigger that has all the tongues wagging this morning. I think it was very appropriately used and helped trying to bring his message across.
There are certain times when attempting to emphasize a particular point, a speaker has to take the gloves off and shoot straight from the hip. I know that the PC-ers do not agree with me but who cares.
Quote from Mr. O :
“Racism, we are not cured of it, and it’s not just a matter of it not being polite to say nigger in public. That’s not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It’s not just a matter of overt discrimination. Societies don’t, overnight, completely erase everything that happened 200 to 300 years prior.”
He is absolutely right; but.
I am glad that he emphasised what happened 200 to 300 years ago cannot be settled overnight. Neither can any person in 2105 be responsible for what happened 200- 300 years ago. Racism is not a one sided issue.
It is a combination of issue and events that promote racism. The blacks are pissed off at the whites for what happened 200 – 300 years ago and everything in between. Should they be? Possibly yes but there is more to the story than meets the eye.
How can anyone be responsible for what their father, grandfather or great-grandfather did?
The whites are pissed off at the blacks because some of them want the government to literally submit to all of their demands and make reparation payments for what happened 200 – 300 years ago that they had no part of.
That was then and this is now. We can not change what happened 200 – 300 years ago but we can control what the future holds if everyone pulls in the same direction.
So who is really responsible for the beginning of slavery? You may be surprised.
http://conservative-headlines.com/2012/03/americas-first-slave-owner-was-a-black-man/
A man named Anthony Johnson a black man, allegedly was the first was the first and one of the biggest slave owners in the country.
In 1830 there were 3,775 black families living in the South who owned black slaves. What do we do with those statistics. Is Johnson or the descendants of these other families responsible for their forefathers owning slaves? These are facts that many black people do not want to address. They were as guilty of slavery as the white people were.
These facts and statistics are part of history long gone that can not be altered. Whose fault was slavery? Everyone that participated in it.
The only way to change:
I have used this one word and one action many time to define how this country can come together; the word is RESPECT but before that comes EDUCATION.
It is absolutely possible if future kids are EDUCATED at a very young age to RESPECT one another, the world we live in would be entirely different.
The major problem we have with that scenario is; the people that should be EDUCATING the kids, the parents of all races, have to get their acts together first.
How can anyone tell their kids not to use dope when they see their role-models with a rubber band strapped to their arm trying to find a vein? How can anyone expect their kids to be responsible if they are bums?
Example of bending the tree when it is young. Why do the North Korean kids and basically the entire population of that country hate the USA? They have been EDUCATED to hate us ever since their umbilical cord was cut. It is brainwashing. What I am suggesting is to brainwash our kids only in a positive direction not to hate one another. It has to be a concerted effort on everyone’s part if we expect results.
I have never witness any politician ever suggest or even mention the word RESPECT. That and EDUCATION are the keys to social harmony.
The absence of one word or one incident is not going to change the racial relations in this country. It is the responsibility of the leaders on all sides to unit under a common cause and instruct their people that they have to RESPECT one another if they want peace.
There are a significant elements out there that does not want peace between the races. These parasites make a living off of pissing people off by keeping stoking the racial fires.
It is sad to say that I do not see any light at the end of this tunnel, all I see is a freight train coming at us full speed ahead.
The blacks have to EDUCATE their kids to respect others and the whites have to EDUCATE their kids not to be racists like the crazy bastard in South Carolina that killed 9 people because he wanted to start a race war.
Are all white people supposed to be held accountable for what this insane worm pulled off?
So far, peaceable people from all races have come together down south and understand that one person’s crazy actions is not the template for an entire race. This is how level headed and peaceable people are suppose to react in troubled times. Good for them!!
I blame the killer for his actions but I also blame the people around him that saw the obvious signs and did not report him to the authorities.
Was this kid’s old man using his head when he bought his kid a handgun for his birthday? The sad fact of many of these stories is; the people that surround these nut cases are as bad as or worse than they are.
What is the answer? Getting back to old school values and EDUCATION. Will that ever happen? I don’t think so. It has gone too far the other way.
I believe that the solution or end to racism is only going to come about when there is only one race between the whites and blacks through intermingling. Take a look around, it is getting more acceptable every day. To some people that is taboo and to other it is evolution. To me, if that is the only answer to this madness that exists between races, so be it. It is destined to happen one way or another.
As we can see the use of the word nigger as Mr. O used yesterday or the absence of it is not going to change the world, EDUCATION and RESPECT are the only answers.
Wake up American politicians. Start putting some of that money you are GIVING away to other countries to good use. We have to start the EDUCATION process yesterday not tomorrow.
