Hostage crisis? Critics rip White House plan to allow terror ransoms:

THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION is being accused of giving terrorists an incentive to kidnap with its hostage policy overhaul — brought forward after ISIS killed Americans James Foley, Kayla Mueller and others — by allowing the families of US hostages to pay ransoms and the US government to play a facilitating role.

They are absolutely correct. If and when Obama signs on the dotted line to pay kidnappers a ransom, it is going to open the door to Pandora’s Box with a vengeance.

Sad to say for the victims and their loved one; some of them don’t belong where they were abducted to begin with.

Just like some of the very adventurous people that climb mountains or go on impossible excursions and run into difficulties; it costs the taxpayers millions of dollars to rescue these people.

Many of the people that are kidnapped are on good-will missions or are in combat situations. I can understand the people that are in combat; they have no choice in where they are stationed. The people such as the missionaries and other that are abducted, they do have a choice.

It is commendable that they choose to help the unfortunates in this world but I have always maintained; don’t go where you don’t belong, especially in this day and age.

When this ransom payoff is enacted by Obama there is going to be 10 times or more kidnappings then there is today. Terrorists or other scam artists that need a few bucks; let’s kidnap an American, they are paying big money these days to buy their release.

As much as it may hurt by not paying the ransom, it is going to hurt that much more if this initiative gets off the ground.

Keep the Americans on US soil and eliminate the possibilities of them being kidnapped. If they elect to put themselves in harm’s way, it will be on them.
