Man accused of threatening Obama in Facebook posts:

Now this certified nut case is really a certified nut case. He must have graduated from The University of Dummies with a doctorate degree.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Federal authorities in Nevada say they arrested a Las Vegas man with seven registered guns and charged him with making Facebook threats to harm President Barack Obama.

Police records show that 55-year-old Tyrone Paul Ponthieux was arrested last week on a criminal complaint that also accuses him of possessing weapons and marijuana with intent to sell.

The charges cites posts on Facebook from November 2014 calling for shooting out of control congressmen and senators and Obama and of using a tree chipper to finish the job. I know we need changes in DC but this guy is somewhat drastic.

I am happy to see that the federal authorities jumped on this thing immediately. It only took them 7 months to make their move against this nut case.

Ponthieux’s ambulance chaser Bill Gamage, intends to use the First Amendment as a defense. I guess somewhere in the 1^st Amendment it states that a person can publicly declare that they intend to kill politicians and the president. I must have missed that paragraph when I was in school.

Now take a look at this dude sitting on the front of his military style vehicle holding an assault rifle. How long does anyone think it would take Tyrone to wipe out half of his neighborhood? Ponthieux should have been arrested 7 months ago when the authorities initially learned of his possible plot to wipe-out the politicians and the president.

For years the government has been expounding on the fact that potential criminals should singled out and apprehended in advance of them pulling off a crime. If this what they call being proactive we really have a problem.
