The Growing Rate of Euthanasia in Belgium:
Wikipedia
It is sometimes said that Belgian food is served in the quantity of German cuisine but with the quality of French food. Outside the country, Belgium is best known for its chocolate, waffles, fries and beer.
I contend that in addition to their fine taste in food and beverages the Belgium people should be acknowledged for their good common sense and dedication to mankind.
I have said it for years; people should be issued a pill the day they are born and it should be up to them when they want to take it.
Most people cannot understand the heartbreak and the suffering a person and their families go through when they are cashing in or severely ill because they have not been exposed to it. It is not a pretty sight. It is dehumanizing, cruel and unnecessary to keep someone alive for the sake of the almighty dollar.
If you want to see firsthand what it is like to live out your remaining day in misery, go visit a nursing home someday. Most of them are good facilities but they basically operate the same way.
The halls are lined with patients strapped into wheelchair and sedated like zombies so they do not cause the staff any problems. Some of the residence are lucky if their family or friends (if they have any that are still living) come to see them once a month. The only time the masses shows up is after the lid is slammed and the bankbook is opened up. It is like when someone wins the lottery. Beforehand no one paid attention to them; as soon as they hit the jackpot they were the most popular people in the world.

None can convince me that 99.5% of the medical community, doctor, hospitals, nursing home etc. do not want to see euthanasia become legal in the USA. There are billions made each year by these entities keeping suffering patients alive. Why, so maybe one of their friends or relative once a week or month? It is not worth the suffering and humiliation of dying. People should be allowed to die with dignity. The older we get the more we realize that fact.
We are not talking about overnight stays in these facilities. Some poor souls are incarcerated for years before the croke.
The same thing applies to operations at are unnecessary.
USA Today 6-15-13
Tens of thousands of times each year, patients are wheeled into the nation’s operating rooms for surgery that isn’t necessary, a USA TODAY review of government records and medical databases finds. Some fall victim to predators who enrich themselves by bilking insurers for operations that are not medically justified. Even more turn to doctors who simply lack the competence or training to recognize when a surgical procedure can be avoided, either because the medical facts don’t warrant it or because there are non-surgical treatments that would better serve the patient.
Euthanasia is just like any other well intended idea such as a flat tax system that will assist the regular Joe and his family to make life a little easier. If it cuts into the money moguls bank accounts it will never have a chance of passing.
There is too much money being made, legally and illegally by some entities tied to the medical communities by keeping people alive. I don’t think it will ever be totally legal in this country for the person to make their own choice of whether to live or die.
I am the first one to say; if a person has a reasonable chance of coming out of their affliction and lead a normal and healthy life, they should be prevented from taking their life. But it should be their choice not some medical or legal professional with ulterior motives.
Keep that euthanasia thing going you Belgiumites; you are a lot smarter and less covetousness than most of the world.
