GWB must have needed the money

George W. Bush charged wounded vets group $100k for speech in 2012:

That is very hard for me to believe.

Washington (CNN) Former President George W. Bush is under fire for charging $100,000 to speak to a group of veterans wounded in a pair of wars he started when he was in office, just the latest front in a political battle over speaking fees that has hit both sides of the aisle.

I hate to be sacrilegious but with this one I had to let out a big JESUS CHRIST!! Isn’t anything sacred or off limits to any of these multi-millionaire politicians?

GWB needed the 100 G’s like Mickey Rooney needed another wife; especially shaking down a veterans group that for all intents and purposes, he and his crew put these guys where they are. I am surprised he wasn’t selling wheel chairs and crutches while he was there or was he?

On top of this insult, accepting blood money to make a speech, he even had them provide a jet for his transportation to and from the event that cost another 20 G’s.

Putting the icing on the cake, Mrs. Bush was paid 50 G’s last year to speak the same group.

What could GWB possibly say to these heroic people but I am sorry. Apologizing is not in a narcissistic persons DNA. Why you ask; because in their mind they are never wrong.

Paying big bucks to hear ex-president speak is nothing new. Wild Bill Clinton and his bride reportedly made over 25 million in one year on the snake oil circuit . He is another high rolling bloviator that would not have anything to say that I would be interested in hearing.

Commander and Chief
