In my opinion, the primary reason for reigniting relations with Cuba is all about the almighty Green Backs. Coming in second may be humanitarian and political reasons.
Back in the 50’s Cuba was known as the Vegas of the Caribbean where millions of dollars were made by Americans that invested in the Island. The Mafia being one of the major benefactors.
You can bet your Cuba Libre that the wheels of the investors have been turning for years trying to rekindle the relationship that can generate billions for the Chosen Few.
I predict that when the ball gets rolling, the conditions will remain basically the same for the peasants but the wealthy will keep filling their coffers.
It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places on the planet with magnificent weather conditions to match. The clarity of the water is breathtaking.
