New-born Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana: Worth $5 billion after only five months on Mother Earth.

Talk about lopsided example of wealth. That is some serious cash for anyone let alone a 5 month old kid.

Charlotte, the Duchess of Cambridge, is the new born daughter of William and Kate. The little lass is not even five months old and she is already worth the equivalent of 5 billion dollars. WOW

Little Charlotte is in good company.  According to public records the Royal Family has a combined estimated wealth of 85 billion dollars. Is that outrageous or what?

We can’t blame these people for their mis-fortune; they were born onto wealth and think that is the way life is supposed to be.  Their money goes all the way back to when Great Britain was the largest land owner in the world.

Just as an example of what a billion dollars looks like.  A stack of 1 billion – 1 dollar bills would measure 358,510 feet or 67.9 miles high.  Multiply that times 85 billion and that will 5,771.50 miles high. It is almost sacrilegious for anyone to be worth that kind of money, unless I had a piece of it.

To help out the struggling royals; years back the British government  passed a law  that made them tax exempt. How sweet is that. Make a billion, keep a billion.

The Royal Family really has no function in the government. Their contribution to the UK is the tourism that they attract which generates about almost 2 billion dollars a year.

Through the years there have been many of the British citizens calling for the abolition of the royal families status because they really don’t have any responsibilities except to look good.

To assist them in their daily struggels, they employ approximately 1200 staff members with various ranges of  skills such as; catering and hospitality, gardening, finance, secretarial, media relations, marketing, human resources, IT, property surveying and maintenance, equine management, visitor management and retail, furniture restoration. Some of the top corporations in the USA don’t have that many employees working for them.

I would contend that the royals have it made in the shade. The only thing that is not provided to them is a concubine that helps them clean up after a trip to the royal porcelain throne.

The royal family has 10 residence and a number of royal yachts that are fully staffed year round just in case one of the family members and their friends wanted to stop in for tea.

To put everything into prospective; the Royal Family has a pretty luxurious assignment while on this earth.

As a credit to them; by all indication the royals are a very benevolent bunch and shared their wealth with 100’s of different charities. That I will give them 5 stars for. It is not public information how much of their wealth they give away.
