Headsetgate? Patriots’ radio network drowns out Steelers’ coaches:
It appears trouble or controversy follows Bill Belichick and company around like chickens following a pig in the barn yard sorting through the pigs droppings.
As everyone knows; first the Patriots had spygate, last year there was deflagate, now they have headsetgate. All the Patriots ever get a slap on the wrist for their deliberate infractions. No one really knows how many gates Belichick has gotten away with.
The fines that were leveled at the Patriots are a joke. It is like Modest Mayweather dropping one hundred bill out of the stack he carries around. He didn’t even know he dropped it.
Now the sports world has headsetgate to deal with. In Thursday nights game against the Steelers, there seems to have been a malfunction or some intentional tampering with the headsets the coaches were wearing. There is some suspicion that the Patriots must have been jamming the airwaves to screw up Pittsburgh play calling. Another case of bad luck for the opposing team??

In very terse language, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that he and other Steelers coaches heard the Patriots’ radio broadcast “for the majority of the first half” on their headsets, impeding their ability to communicate with each other. The Steelers lost to the Patriots 28-21 in Foxborough, Massachusetts, in the National Football League’s regular-season opener.
Is it just another amazing coincidence? Throughout all of the teams in the NFL, the Patriots are the only team that has these questionable, mysterious incidents shadowing them.
The way I see it; once a thief gets caught with their hands in the cookie jar, it is very difficult to convince the public the next time they get caught, that it is just a case of misunderstanding or a stroke of bad luck.
Based on Bill’s track record, I would not put anything past him in his efforts to win a game.
It is human nature; if a person continually gets away cheating/scamming, before long they think they are untouchable. I think this is the mind-set that Bill and company have today.
So what do we believe about headsetgate? Was it just another in a long line of mishaps for Bill and crew? On this one I will have to ask one of the chickens.
