I ran across this commercial that the DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) put out to commemorate the 4th of July this year.
I am sure that all of the country would be interested in read it; especially the vets that have died waiting to be attended to – their families and friends – the ones pushed in a corner and went unattended for hours and days – had their records altered so as not to incriminate the people that wrote them out. They didn’t want their bonuses to be impacted by their negligence.
How can anyone have the balls to put out trash like ad for what they have done and haven’t done to attend to the men and women that have served their country? It is disgraceful.
This has to he hypocrisy at its finest.

July 4th is the day we celebrate our independence. But, it is also a day to honor our Veterans. Saturday, July 4th at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, we will be airing Together VA during the “Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” as a tribute to our Veterans and the many thousands of VA health care professionals who make their recovery a reality.
The dedicated and caring health care providers working at VA Medical Centers across the country give our Nation’s Veterans the critical health care they need to live fuller, more active lives. This spirit of team-oriented care and healing is the subject of VA’s latest TV commercial.
Airing on broadcast and cable networks nationwide, it features Dana, a Veteran and co-founder of an amputee surfing group, who learned to surf again thanks to his treatment at VA. “Together VA” shows the dedication behind our mission of serving the millions of Veterans who turn to VA each year. Filmed in Los Angeles at the Sepulveda VA location, the commercial features only VA employees, such as doctors, nurses and physical therapists—real health care professionals who make recovery possible.
The goal of the commercial is to promote greater awareness of VA and to aid in the recruitment of hard-to-reach health care occupations, including physicians, nurses and pharmacists. Stories such as Dana’s and the VA employees who made his recovery possible are important to share as we work toward our goal of recruiting the country’s best and brightest health care professionals.
give our Nation’s Veterans the critical health care they need to live fuller, more active lives – actions speak a lot louder than words. So far the action is very slow coming.

Happy 4th of July!

As you can see I highlighted some of their propaganda so it would stand out.
Honor our vets – they should try to service them first and then honor them
Fireworks display – I wonder how much they spent on the fireworks that could have been put to better use?
Tribute to the vets – pay them tribute by attending to them, not making them invisible and altering their records
The dedicated and caring health care providers working at VA Medical Centers – I am sure there are some professionals that work for the VA that do care about the vets but the ones that don’t have ruined the system and crippled the people they are supposed to be attending to. Let the records speak for themselves.
307,000 died waiting for service – that is what they call critical health care they need to live fuller, more active lives
307,000 vets may have died awaiting VA care, report says …
Sep 3, 2015 – New report: More than 300,000 vets died awaiting care 01:21. Story highlights. The Department of Veterans Affairs has been under fire for not giving vets enough access to care. A VA inspector general report finds 307,000 vets died before applications processed.
Is this report unconscionable?
One of the primary reasons this fairy tale was contrived; the professional enrollment in the VA is at an all time low. They cannot find professional people that want to work for lower wages and under deplorable conditions.
Secondly. The people that orchestrate this fairly tale are attempting to conceal the inadequacies and the dire conditions the system is in. In the Marine Corps, we call the attempted deception trying to blow smoke up someones ass.
Whatever the case; the government should be ashamed for putting out such a deceptive commercial when conditions with the VA are in shambles.
It has been suggested by some people in the know that the VA should be privatized. It would be a hell of a lot cheaper and the vets that put their lives on the line can get the care they deserve.
