Do you really think many of them are listening? We can label it a temporary case of tumbling into self-conscientiousness; maybe.
I give Pope Francis a lot of credit for trying to make a change in this world. He absolutely is a holy and very humble person that appears to be a true believer. He lives by what he preaches, contrary to how a lot that have come before him have.
It is no secret that the Vatican has operated like a corporation for many 100’s of years with all of the graft and corruption that goes with big business. Based on all appearances Francis is trying to turn it around.
He has to be careful of whose toes he steps on. It is not out of the question that there have been many attempts and many being successful to put the pope’s light out. Even the Mothers and Father Italian Association, AKA the MAFIA has it in for the big guy. His teachings cut into their way of life.

As we can see, even the papacy is not exempt for murder or assassinations.
The messages Francis has expressed in his visit to the USA are all common-sense, ecological, self-preservation and humanitarian related issues that would be very easy implemented if the people that control the power strings were not money, power and ego driven mongers.
Francis may make a difference in the Catholic Church that has been on the skids for many years (possibly some other religious orientated groups) but as far as the rest of the world, there isn’t a chance in HELL that he is going to be any type of an influence.
It is wishful thinking that one man could turn the world around but that is not the way the real world works. As long as there are parasites – war mongers – off the chart world leaders that are driven by power and money the world conditions are only go to get worse.
Is anyone so naive to think that any one person can change how the the Judo guy is going to do an about face with him invading other countries – the brat kid with the funny hair cut going to start acting like a civilized human-being (I hate to be related to the boy) – the guy from the land of egg foo young going to slack off on trying with his clandestine treachery – the mad man in Syria that killed thousands of his own people and some with poisonous gasses is going to hang it up – ISIS backing off of the slaughter of all Christians they come across and anyone else that does not agree with their ideologies – drug lords quit selling dope that is literally destroying man-kind – these sick bastards that make their living off of kiddie porn are going to quit; none of them are going to relent? I am sure I missed a few of the scumbags.
That is not reality. Reality is; greed – power – money – being parasitic – narcissistic – a control freak – dominating others and lack of human decencies.
It is just like when there is a national tragedy in the USA. For the first couple of months after the event; many of the American people are waving their flags and are all patriotic. That patriotism lasts a few months and they go back to being the self-centered people they always were.
Patriotism should not a part time job; it should be a full time dedication.
The sad fact of the matter is; many of the world and corporate leaders do not want peace. Some of these demented people believe; there has to be a war going at all times to keep the economy going. Personally I think there can be many other avenues/options that can keep the money wheels turning instead of man-kind trying to kill each other off.
Pope Francis deserves a 10 star rating out of a 5 star rating for his legitimate efforts to help clean up humanity. But that is not realistic. In less than one month all of the flag wavers will go back to the old ways sinning their little asses off and trying to beat/cheat anyone they can. Unfortunately, the reality of life is; every man for himself.
One question that pretty much sums up my opinions. Out of 100 people that would see a hazard in the roadway which may cause a severe accident; how many of these very busy people, providing it was safe, would get out of the cars and remove it? That is the answer to people going out of their way to help or being kind and considerate to others. Sad to say; that is the way of the world.
