What would media mogul Barry Diller do if Donald Trump is elected president? “I’ll either move out of the country or join the resistance.”
I can just imagine what The Donald’s comeback is going to be like.
Diller is CEO of IAC/InterActiveCorp (IACI), the conglomerate of new media businesses from Match.com to The Daily Beast to HomeAdvisor.com. Forbes estimates his net worth at $2.5 billion, while it puts Trump’s wealth at $4.5 billion.
“Donald Trump, all he is is about conflict, and all that he is is negative conflict,’ Diller said.”He’s a self-promoting huckster who found a vein. A vein of meanness and nastiness.”
Sounds to me that Diller may be a little envious of the Trumpster because he has a few more billion than he does. After the first billion, does it really matter??
I hear many people criticizing Trump for being too negative. Sometime people want to label the truth as negativity. That is the furthest from the truth. Many people have a problem facing the truth because it is a lot easier to try conceal and camouflage it as a falsehood. They do not have the commonsense or the stomach to face reality. They live very comfortably in fantasy land and don’t want anyone to upset their apple cart. Quite often the truth hurts and they don’t want to admit it.
On the other hand, the ONLY way to ever to correct a discrepancy, regardless of what it it is, personal or otherwise is to face the truth and do something to correct the problem. I truly believe that Trump is taking that road. His journey maybe a little bumpy in the process but he it shooting from the hip.
Now, if we want to talk about Trump’s overbearing personality that is a different story. He definitely needs to tone it down in some instances. Arrogance can be a killer.
Trump has raised many issues that most politicians would not touch with a ten foot pole, especially on the democratic side of the fence. Now many of the other running on the republican ticket jumped on Trump’s bandwagon and are following suit because they see that the public is being receptive to his criticisms.
I have followed the guy pretty closely and have not heard 20% of what he is expounding on to be false or inaccurate. Only sometime the message is great but the messenger needs some polish. An 80% plus for a potential politician is a great number.
Anyone that can objectively look at the conditions of the USA and say it is in good shape needs to lay on a couch and tell someone their problems.
Unlike some other people running for president, like Bill’s wife and Bernie Sanders that are promising everyone in the country everything but a Polls Royce; Trumps expectations are pretty realistic. Their outrageous promises are not doable or even realistic. Have those two rocket scientists look at the nation debt lately.
Their strategy is the same style that put Mr. O in office; only he had the race thing working for him. Promise desperate people the moon, tell all of the people that are on social programs that don’t belong there, that they will be taken care of for the rest of their lazy ass lives and for 20 generations to come; then don’t come up with squat.
Let’s face it. If the USA continues down this ultra-liberal democratic way of doing business, this slippery slope we are on is going to get a lot slimier. We cannot continue to be the doormat for the world.
I can almost guarantee; if Trump were president now we would not be in the predicaments we are in around the world. Obama has lost the respect of himself and more importantly the nation.
What is his stand going to be if The Judo guy starts shooting our jet planes out of the sky.
Anyone that has ever been in a serious altercations knows; if one of the two combatants does not fight back or at least try to defend them-self, the other guy is going to do the tarantella in his head. That is what we are now witnessing.
So my suggestion to Mr. Diller; get that suit case packed just in case you may need it.
