Volkswagen’s top U.S. executive apologized Thursday as the emissions-rigging scandal engulfing the world’s largest automaker deepened and members of Congress said the company violated the public’s trust.

“On behalf of our company, my colleagues in Germany and myself, I would like to offer a sincere apology for Volkswagen’s use of a software program that served to defeat the regular emissions testing regime,”Volkswagen of America CEO Michael Horn told a House subcommittee.

They are sorry they got caught not that they deliberately scammed 1,000’s of people all in the name of the Euro.  If the CEO of USA Volkswagen knew of this deception by the mother land based company, which I am positive he did, why didn’t he bring it out in the open?

Exactly how long did VW’s honchos think that they could get away with this charade.  They remind me of a petty thief that keeps robbing the same store 10 times. He is too stupid to know that sooner or later he is going to get caught. Greed is a bitch. When is enough enough?????

If you are going to be a thief be a good one. Don’t keep robbing the same store time after time.

From now on we can be that the auto authorities will be following the Police’s advice.
