Doof rof thguoht!! esnesnommoc

Sign of alien life? Kepler telescope spots strange star:

I don’t claim to be the brightest star in the sky but I do pride myself with having a fair amount of commonsense.

When I read about outer-space, I do partially understand the scientists’ explanation and most of their theories but somethings using commonsense, things just don’t add up.

mad

It is almost like going to place of worship. Anyone with any commonsense can’t believe everything the preacher spews out. Commonsense will not allow it. I guess that is why they call it blind faith.

po

Example: If a star is 1500 light years away from the earth, theoretically the star could have burned out 1499 years ago but the light it generated when it was alive is still visible.  Makes sense; maybe??

Take the last planet discovery science just uncovered; it is planet called KIC 8462852 and is 1,481 light years away from Earth. A light year measures the astronomical distance that light travels in one year.

s

Light travels at 186,282 miles per second x 60 seconds in a minute = 11,1176,920 x 60 minutes in an hour = 670,615,220 per hour X 24 hours in a day =  16,094,765,800. That is hauling ass.

I multiplied 16,094,764,800 x 365 days in a year = 5,874,589,152,000 that gives us the amount of miles light travels in a year. That is 5 trillion, 874 billion, 589 million, 152 thousand, miles light travels in one year.  Than multiply that number by the amount of light years the planet or star is away from the earth to determine how many miles light has to travel to get to earth. It is mind boggling.

How is even possible to see anything that is that far away through a telescope? I don’t care how powerful it is; especially when the star or planet is as far away as 1,480 light years. 5,874,589,152,000 light travels in one year x 1,480 light years away = 8,700,266,534,112,000 – that is quadrillion miles.

Black holes are another phenomenon of outer space that makes sense but commonsense dictates it doesn’t.

Again; theoretically, according to the men and women in the know, a black hole is a astronomically, gigantic swirling hole at the edge of the universe  that supposedly sucks up everything with-in millions of miles of it, objects bigger than the size of the earth or larger. If that is even feasible, where do all of the objects end up?  The black holes are so far in the distance, how the hell does anyone come up with theories like that??

Dictionary.com

Astronomy. a theoretical massive object, formed at the beginning of the universe or by the gravitational collapse of a star exploding as a supernova, whose gravitational field is so intense that no electromagnetic radiation can escape.

Formed at the beginning of the universe. According to the experts the universe starts approximately 45 billion light years away. Yes starts.

Here we are again; logically and I use that word logically emphatically; how the hell do these Einstein’s concoct that type of information, especially when they are gathering their data from looking through a telescope?

Doof rof thguoht!! Clue; that is if you are hungry for egdelwonk.

I can’t blame this one on the politicians; although I have heard some them refereed many times as black holes, the way the suck up the tax payers money.
