1st female Reservist dons Army Ranger tab:

Good for her. Maj. Lisa Jaster joins two other exceptional ladies in the prestigious ranks as Army Rangers, an elite unit in the Army.

She joins Capt. Kristen Griest and 1st Lt. Shaye Haver as the only women in the Army to have graduated from Ranger School.

These three ladies have succeeded where many men have failed. Great job.

I can sit here all day long and try to explain what it was like going through Marine Corps boot camp in 1958 but all anyone can connect with are the words. In the same token; a person has to walk in their shoes to really appreciate just what an achievement it was to go through such an ordeal (putting it mildly) that it took to get through Rangers school for these three ladies.

Not being a chauvinist pig; women are not built as strong as some men; at least physically, consequently they have to work 3 times as hard to achieve the same results in situations such as these. But just like in the martial arts if applied properly; it is 90% mental and 10% physical.

If a person doesn’t have the heart and the mind to persevere; all the physical strength in the world will not do them any good. There are three elements required in our lives to achieve greatness  in such a demanding organization; mental – mental – mental and then one more, mental.

Without this  and this     

this         is useless!!!

There are a lot of exceptional women out there in the world that have not been given the chance to prove themselves. Hopefully society is going to wise up and continue to open the doors of achievement for them.

I have said this many time; there are some super-stars sitting on the bench that are never given the opportunity to shine. Unless someone lets them in, they continue to sit there with their wasted talent.

You have come a long way LADIES. Keep the ball rolling.

SIDE NOTE:  The ladies that are suppressed and forbidden to make advancements in some foreign countries; it is only because the male leaders of those countries are fear-full of the women. They are afraid if the ladies have equal rights it will be threat to their male dominated society. Those archaic men should be ashamed of themselves; but they are not. They are living in fear of what the women can do if they had equal rights.

As inept as the USA is in some of its ways of operating, I am glad to see the ladies are advancing as much as they have been in the last few years. They still have a long way to go.

If a women can do the exact job as her male counter-part without making concessions for her , she absolutely should make the same money as them. Why not?????
