Drone invasion: 1M new drones this Xmas
The only conclusion I can come to, I must be a hell of a lot smarter or ahead of my time than some of the people that run this country.
I have done around 23 posts on the dangers of drones and the fact that they should be allowed by the military or law enforcement. The exception being that parks should be set up for the drone dorks to fly their toys in a safe environment.
Now all of a sudden the Department of Transportation will announce a registration requirement for private drone ownership. It’s expected to go into effect by Christmas.
So evidently they finally see the potential danger in the flying machines but still will not address the issue in is’t entirety. Typical governmental procedures.
As I said before; what is it going to take is to have some politicians kids get smacked in their face with one on their wedding day before they decide to make a move like Exlax.
I think it is probably time to appoint a Drone Czar and set aside about 6 billion dollars to do a study on the issue. We wouldn’t want the DC Drone Dorks to rush into anything. After all the end of the year is coming and they are going to be leaving for a well deserved long vacation.
