One very solid citizen

High school football player stops during game to thank WWII veterans:

good

I find this story absolutely accelerating, refreshing and for a change, something upbeat to post. Finally I have someone and something to post that shows there are still people/kids in the USA that appreciate where they are from – who they are and have most probably some awesome parents that taught them respect, appreciation and manners.

This young man Chase Hill, a junior at the Louisiana high school, stopped playing in the middle of a football game, walked away from the huddle, went over to the sidelines where 6 WWII vets, 5 men and 1 women were sitting, shook hands with them  and thanked them for their service.

I am positive he made their day – week – month and year!!

This young man has renewed my faith that there still are some solid kids in this country that realize how good they have it because of the sacrifices many men and women have made through the years to keep them and their families safe and able to live in freedom.

If all American citizens followed the stellar example of Chase Hill we could eliminate about 95% of the country’s problems.

Strong organizations pull together not against each-other. It all starts at the top. If the father of a family is solid citizen, 99% of the time so will his kids be.

I don’t want to spoil this great story about Chase with all of the depressing details that plague our country but every citizen in this country should appreciate what they have and make the best of it.

To all the rest; there are some boats dock-side in Detroit that are leaving for Iran and North Korea; be on it.

I hear haircuts in N K are very reasonable. Bring your own bowl. Tell them Denis sent you.

Chase, you are one stand-up kid. Thanks for caring. Maybe it will rub off on some others.
