Take the rest of the year off kids – your working too hard

Washington (CNN) Stressed-out students nationwide, take note. Relief is on the way.

GIVE ME A ^*^#$^&*(^# break!!!!

To what extent does the government/president want to get involved into running our lives? Before we know it, they will be counting the number of sheets we use when on the throne.

I would think that Mr. O has more pressing issues to deal with than worrying about how many hours kids are required to do tests in school.

We have the Commander in Chief  (not to be confused with the Commander and Chief) that is foolishly sympathizing with some of the already illiterate kids in our schools systems, that came in the lowest on test scores in the world. He is telling they are working too hard.  This foolish effort of his is going to make the already ignorant kids less educated than some of them already are. Bright future, huh??

Commander and Chief                            Commander in Chief

After years of complaints from teachers, parents and students alike, the Obama administration on Saturday announced new guidelines toward standardized tests, saying kids spend too much time taking “unnecessary” exams in schools.

The new plan the Commander in Chief is standing behind; recommends that students do not spend more than 2% of classroom time taking tests in school and that parents should be notified if their child’s school exceeds this limit. Give me a another  %&())*&$%*( break!!!!

2%, that sounds like the approval rating for congress.

Are we trying to advance our kids education or diminish their education?

Two international tests released Tuesday show that U.S. students continue to lag behind those in many Asian and some European countries in reading, math and science. As the Post reported:

In fourth-grade math, for example, students in Singapore, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Northern Ireland and the Flemish region of Belgium outperformed U.S. students.

In eighth-grade science, children in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Finland, Slovenia, Russia and Hong Kong beat U.S. students.

Our student come in way down the totem pole of the education ladder in the world; so what does Obama suggest; less tests. Makes a lot of sense to me.

How do teacher evaluate the advancement of their student if it is not done through testing?

In many cases teachers have a very unenviable job dealing with some of these teenage monsters that were not properly educated.  How would you like you deal with a thug like this??

He is one of the examples of a kid that was PASSED ON just to get rid of him. A properly educated kid would not do this.

At least Obama is consistent in the way he does things. While the the rest of the world is building their military just in case; the USA, under Mr. O’s leadership is cutting our military to the bare bones. Giant mistake.

I have said this many times. There are only a few things that have kept our enemies at bay all of these years. fear – our military might – 3# commonsense.  Now that hardly any one in the world takes the USA seriously any more, the fear factor is gone – our military is getting chopped to shreds and very few people now exist that have any commonsense.

This is a great article showing why oriental kids, Japanese in this case, are far more advanced then their pampered American counterparts. Education in that part of the world is taken seriously.

These oriental kids are EDUCATED from the time they squeak out of that 9 month safe-haven they were in; on family unity, discipline, respect, determination, humility, hard work, the list is endless.  No one tells them they are working too hard.

In the USA I have heard of desperate teachers passing some incorrigible bums just to get them out of their classrooms. At the end of the day these FOLKS have a degree and can’t even spell their names.

There are many example of college students, especially the jocks that were pampered all through school, that can not even read on a third grade level.

These guys are prime examples of making it too easy for some kids in school by not demanding excellence.

Instead of Mr. O encouraging the kids to do better and study harder, he is undermining their future by telling little Johnny and Joanne or Jose and Jovana that they are working too hard.

Hard work, good ethics, solving difficult tasks, responsibility are the corner stone of developing into a better more productive citizen.

Put your nose to the grind stone kids if you ever want to be successful in life.

Kids; the few hours a day you spend in school is the foundations for the rest of your life; make the best of it. If you want to succeed, work hard and get a good education. If you want to be one of the dummies in this world and spending the rest of your life blaming someone else that you are a dummy; listen to you leader, he feels sorry for you.

This example of the influence a president has on the kids in the country is a little off the subject but bears stating.

When Wild Bill was having an affair with that starry eyed intern, he stated that having oral sex was not considered a sex act. Many of the younger, inexperienced  kids believed him. What end result do we have today? Need I say more?

Kids learn by the examples their parents and leaders set. If the prez said it is so, it must be.

He certainly is not setting a good standard.
