Bell Tolls: Talent trumps whatever moral compass exists with Dallas Cowboys
I see that someone has been reading the Goomba Gazette and agrees with me.
When we have people like Jerry The Greed Jones that puts money and success before morality, they are despicable and a piss poor example to the people who admire them. But being that the OLD BOY is worth billions he will continue to have his posterior kisses by all of his obsequious followers.
The only moral compass Jones has is the one that is ALWAYS pointing north to his bank account. Shame on him.
Cowboy’s owner backs Hardy after photos of his alleged victim surface:
Anyone that has ever watched an interview with the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has to know the guy is all about winning and more over the $$$$$$.
Jerry Jones signed defensive lineman Greg Hardy on Friday to a 13 million dollar contract after Jones knew about Hardy pounded the shit out his girlfriend in a fit of anger. So much for protecting the women, huh Jer?

Jones stated that although he didn’t seen the photos of the battered women he said the Cowboys were aware of the serious nature of the incident.
In a brilliant, ridiculous and chivalrous statement, Jones he said; we do not condone domestic violence; we did enter into the agreement with Greg fully understanding that there would be scrutiny and criticism. Beside the guy being compashionate for women’s rights; he is clairvoyant too.
I wonder what his wife thinks of his decision.
In photos provided by Deadspin, Hardy’s ex-girlfriend, Nicole Holder is showing extensive bruising to her face and body.
In the police report, the woman describes being thrown around the football player’s apartment.
Hardy is no stranger to domestic violence or beating up women. In 2014 he went on trial in North Carolina and reached a civil settlement with the woman, who after the fact declined to testify. His victim probably declined to testify because she was either scared to death, she was paid to keep her bruised mouth shout or both.

The details of that beating were; Holder, choking her, and throwing her onto a sofa with assault rifles, occurred while Hardy played for the Carolina Panthers. In the police report, the woman describes a night of drinking and doing cocaine at several bars before returning to Hardy’s apartment with the player, who snapped at some point. When she tried to defend herself, Hardy beat her, threw her into a bathtub and then slammed her onto the couch.
Sounds like what some out of control defensive linebacker would do; resort to what they do best.
Personally I think that Roger Grendel, the guy the NFL pays 44.2 million a year, for I don’t know what, should have some input into situations like this. I was under the assumption that the NFL had strict rules about the BOYS and domestic violence.
It is all lip service FOLKS. That was a 44.2 million dollar speech Roger made.
Let’s face it. All celebs, whether they are in sports or entertainment; are all role-models for the young kid. If the kids see them beating the rap committing crimes with no consequences, why should they walk the straight and narrow?
