There are some politicians in this country after all that are displaying some common-sense and defensive postures to try and avert potential problems in their states.
The governors in the following states want to put up the barricades and keep Syrian immigrants out of their states. It is about time the very silent majority is speaking up.
Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin and New Mexico. All are Republicans except for Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire, a Democrat. Good for Maggie; it is apparent that she has a little something between her ears.
When there is something as critical as this, it is no time for worrying about the political theme song; what is good for the party. The terrorists do not care what political affiliation, what nationality, what religions except Muslim or who your Ma Ma is, they want to obliterate everyone that does not espouses to their ways.
I certainly hope that the remaining governors’ see the wisdom in what their colleagues are doing and join ranks. Now is not the time to be making foolish decisions based on what a lost shepherd’s ideologies.
It is a long way down.
