UnitedHealth warns it may exit Obamacare plans:

One of the major players in the health insurance industry UnitedHealth Group said they may get a hat and drop out of the un-affordable/Obamamess health insurance game. This morning they warned that it may stop offering insurance plans to individuals through the public exchanges established by the reform law.

Years ago there was an old bachelor farmer that sent for a mail order bride. Like all old timers, the farmer had no other means of transportation except a horse and buggy; that is what he used to pick up the lady he intended to marry. Off to the depot he went with his old faithful horse and raggedy buggy.

The meeting  between the two strangers was very cold being they never saw one another before. They were no computers at the time or dating services and a person had to accept whatever they paid for, like is arranged marriage of convenience.

One the way to the farmer house, going down the old muddy road the horse was steadily pulling the buggy when he farted. The old man said; that’s once – they continued a little further; the horse farts again, the old man said, that’s twice. Continued down the road, the horse farted again. With that the farmer pulled a pistol out for under his seat and shot the horse in the back of the head killing the poor critter.

In total shock, the new bride yelled at the old man and said; what the hell are you doing, that was a perfectly good horse. The old man gave his bride a stern look and said; that’s once.

I think it is time to put some of those farting horses to sleep that Mr. O has contrived. Obamacare or more commonly known in the circles of reality; the un-affordable health care plan; is one of the nags right up there with the worst of herd.

The cost of that monstrosity was unimaginable. To start with  just the website for the plan wound up costing over 2 billion dollars.

I did a post at the time being facetious and said that GoDaddy does websites for $19.95. The contract to put this mess together  was GIVEN without any competitive bidding to a company that was owned by a  Canadian firm and one of the VP’s went to college with that Mrs. O.  That was only for starters.

After a long drawn out process, the Canadian company had the plan so screwed up that the administration finally gave it to an American company to repair. The clincher is; they said it was the best company in the business. Why didn’t they GIVE it to the American company in the beginning? That is what I consider looking out for the American workforce.

Not to mention; to the best of my knowledge, the Canadian company did not have to come up with a refund because they failed to complete their project. It is always who you know!!

Company after company, state after state are dropping out of the un-affordable healthcare plan because of the costs and complexity of the plan.

Obamacare Robs Medicare of $716 Billion to Fund Itself

Last week, a new Congressional Budget Office (CBO) report updated the amount of money Obamacare robs out of Medicare from $500 billion to a whopping $716 billion between 2013 and 2022. Folks, we are talking BBBBBillions not MMMMMillions!!

According to the CBO, the payment cuts in Medicare include:

• A $260 billion payment cut for hospital services.
• A $39 billion payment cut for skilled nursing services.
• A $17 billion payment cut for hospice services.
• A $66 billion payment cut for home health services.
• A $33 billion payment cut for all other services.
• A $156 billion cut in payment rates in Medicare Advantage (MA); $156 billion is before considering interactions with other provisions. The House Ways and Means Committee was able to include interactions with other provisions, estimating the cuts to MA to be even higher, coming in at $308 billion.
• $56 billion in cuts for disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payments.* DSH payments go to hospitals that serve a large number of low-income patients.
• $114 billion in other provisions pertaining to Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP* (does not include coverage-related provisions).

If these fact and figures are even close to being accurate; how does someone justify stealing from Peter to pay Paul and classify it as a successful operation?

Many of the endeavours that Mr. O has undertaken  in order to make himself look good in the history books have been total disasters.

The job of the presidency of the USA or any other political position is not suppose to be only about the personal gratification, it is supposed to be about caring for the citizens of the USA.

Like JFK said in one his famous speeches:

This message should be surgically implanted in every politicians brain before they take office.

Through the years they seem to have lost sight of why they were elected.  The way most of them view their positions is; how much can they personally benefit from politics; not the fact that they are elected to do what is best for the citizens of this country.

Oath of office for the US Senate:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

I hope that most of them are not God fearing people. By looking at their oath, they committed 100 sins without even trying.  I know who is wait for them on judgement day.

Politics should be viewed as a baseball game. How many strikes does a team member get before they are called out????
