Police say 16 injured after shooting at New Orleans park:

Who needs birth control devices or pills, rubbers or implants for women and sex education in schools? All the government has to do is issue a bunch of hand guns to some fools, give them a unlimited amount of wine and weed, put them all together in a close quarter facility, lock the gate and in a couple of months our population control will no longer be a issue.

An argument broke out between groups of people in a New Orleans park; named of all things, Bunny Friend Playground. There was nothing very friendly about the people that were in attendance.

Someone probably called someone else’s Ma Ma a nasty name (we called it playing the dozens; like your Ma Ma wears combat boots) and the fireworks kicked off. The shootout resembled a scene form the shootout a the OK Corral, When the smoke cleared there were 16 people that were shot.

There were about 500 people that gathered at the park to watch a musical video being shot, when the fireworks started.

Ambulances took 10 victims to area hospitals, and police later learned that another six victims had been taken to the hospital in private vehicles.

These are the nutty people that give the anti-gun advocates a good reason for their case. As I have said many time; it is not the guns that are the problem, it is the person behind them. 

When I was growing up and people had disputes, very seldom if ever did guns come into play. We used anything we could get our hands on but 99.9% of the time, both parties lived to see another day. Now there are a completely different set of rules.

Most of the today’s kids have been brought up under violent conditions, have spent 1,000’s of hours killing 1,000,000’s people on video games and they are living in a society that has less and less regard for human life. Many of them because of the video game, can not attach reality to what they are doing.

Will incidents like this continue?  You can bet your life they will as long as there are irresponsible people out there toting guns.
