Liberty University president encourages students to carry guns on campus:

Liberty University president Jerry Falwell Jr. urged students Friday to carry concealed weapons on campus to counter any possible armed attack, saying that; we could end those Muslims before they walk in; let’s teach them a lesson if they ever show up here.

As conservative as I am; I think the Falwell is not using good judgement.

Isn’t it a very sad commentary that our country has evolved into this state of desperation? I can tell you one thing FOLKS; it is here to stay unless some very drastic steps are taken to put and end to this madness.

What we are experiencing here in the USA is something that many countries have been dealing with for hundreds of years. The USA and some of it’s leader thought and some do still think,  we are bulletproof. WRONG.

If it ever does come to the point where everyone in this country is armed, there is going to be a multitude of mishaps. Even more dangerous than a young kid learning to drive a car; any person having a firearm in there possession has undertaken a very big responsibility that should not be taken lightly.

I do agree that a firearm in the hands of a qualified person can be a great deterrent but the key word is QUALIFIED.  Arbitrarily putting a gun into every students hands without the proper training could turn out to be  a disaster. Some people even with the proper training will still not be safe and responsible.

I like my suggestion much better. Using the military and all of our resources; go  after them before they come after us.
