Talk about judges on the take; these two winners are lower than whale shit and have ruined many lives on account of their devious, greedy ways.
Back in 2008 a scandal unfolded about a couple of crook judges that were tied up with a privatized prison scam using kids as the fall guys. They had a real good thing going until they got greedy and caught with their hands in a cell door.
The two thieves were from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; judges Mark Ciavarella and Michael Conahan, were convicted of taking kickbacks from Robert Mericle a builder who built two private facilities for the detention of juveniles.
This was the scam. In return for their contribution of disgrace; sentencing kids to much harder and longer sentences than the books called for; the two bastard judges were getting their palms greased from the owner of the facility. The longer then sentence, the more money the private facility would make, the bigger payday it was for their dis-honors.
The maggots that were dressed in robes and had the gavel of justice in their hands finally got caught and were given good long vacations in the cross-bar hotel.
Their trumped crimes and sentences for the prisoners generate millions of dollars for housing fees, which they got a piece of.
If you were to look up the word scum bags in the dictionary; you would see Ciavarella and Conahan pictures under the caption.
In one example; Ciavarella sentenced kids for mocking a teach in school for one months detention.
These to bum judges received about 2.6 million dollars of taxpayers money for their end of the kickbacks.
This was not the only infraction of the law these thieves in judges robes were charged with. The authorities look back on their history once the can of worms was opened and found that these two charlatan magistrates have been tipping in the till for many years.
A grand jury returned a 48-count indictment against Ciavarella including racketeering, fraud, money laundering, extortion, bribery, and federal tax violations on September 9, 2009; he got 28 years in the slams.
Conahan entered a revised guilty plea to one count of racketeering conspiracy in July 2010. In a verdict reached at the conclusion of a jury trial, he was convicted February 18, 2011 on 12 of the 39 of the counts he faced.
These two guys are worse than the priest that has a broad on the side and gives some poor soul a dozen rosaries to say because he used God’s name in vein. Talk about hypocrisy!!! This is it at its finest.
Not only are these two crooks pathetic but Ciavarella said in an very embarrassing statement, trying to cop a plea; I loved the juvenile court, I loved helping those kids. I would never do anything to hurt a child, that’s just not what I do. That’s not me. I was always there for those kids. I resent the fact that people think I did something improper. I didn’t do anything improper when it came to the care of those kids. I would have more respect for the man if he took it on the chin and left out the dramatics.
One of the distraught mother approached Ciavarella when he was being led out of court in shackles and screamed at him; Do you remember me, do you remember my son?! He’s gone, he shot himself in the heart because of you.
The lady should have saved her breath. Narcissistic people like him are not even phased by anyone else’s emotions or hardships. It is always about their self-importance.
One of the major problems with these high rollers is; they start making a few bucks, living high on the hog but are out-spending what they are making. They have to keep up their front to have the ego boost going , so they start getting their hands dirty.
The old saying is; the first time is the hardest, each time following, it gets easier.
I wonder how they like their striped burlap instead of their 2,000 dollar Armanis’??
