GETTING TOUGH ON DRONES
New FAA regs requiring registration come on heels of flight safety study

To date I have dozen of posts or more on the dangers of these menacing flying machines and the dangers of using them for recreational and malicious purposes.  Now all of a sudden the FDA (FIND DHERE ASS with both hand) is waking up.

No one should be able to fly these nuisances except the military and law enforcement.

Set up designated areas where the drone officiators can congregate and get their thrills. Any drones being flown outside of those areas should be open season to anyone with a gun.

I wonder just how much the study cost the taxpayers?

Before it is all said and done or possibly when someone gets killed, they will set up a commission and probably name 3 or 4 Drone Czars to lead the parade. That should cost a couple million or so. In the scheme of things, that is peanuts the way politicians blow money.

I guess that air safety is not of a concern to the decision makers with all of the complaints there have been from pilots with the near misses. In August of this year alone there were 700 complaints from pilots.

Maybe the politicians have a larger number in mind, like 3,000 they are waiting on before they make a move.  Maybe I should send a case of Ex-lax to DC to help them along.

Like with all political maneuvers; if it is not the politicians suggestion, it is not any good.
