Mexico mayor murdered one day after taking office
It was probably the shortest reign in office of any political job. It lasted one day.
Mayor Gisela Mota was a great – patriotic lady that wanted to make a change in the city of Temixco and in Mexico; she paid for her ambitions with her life.

Just elected to the mayor of her city, she was in her office on the first day of business when 4 gunmen burst in with their pistola’s blazing and shot her dead.
Two of the gunmen were killed and the other two were captured.
This senseless killing is just another in the very long line of murders connected to the drug cartels south of the boarders.
Years back when the druggies were in the startup mode, the Mexican government thought they would just ignore them and maybe they would fade away. WRONG.
As time went on, the banditos became more and more powerful and eventually they were more dominant than the government itself. They have more money and more firepower than the country they live in.
Just as an example of how strong the drug industry is in Mexico and the rest of the world.
This sad situation is a very good example of not nipping it in the bud. If the terrorists groups that are now plaguing the world were squashed like a bug before they became so high and mighty, the world would not have to be dealing with them at the level we are now.
If the AFFLUENZA kid was dealt with properly when he was younger by his permissive, ignorant parents, he would not be the basket case, junior monster his parents made him into.
There are thousands of scenarios that nipping it in the bud can be used for.
The longer a boil is permitted to grow, fester and go unattended the bigger it gets. Eventually when it pops, like a bad habit, it is a gigantic mess and very hard to clean up.

Regardless what the discrepancy is FOLKS, over-weight – drug addiction – alcoholism – spoiled rotten kids – terrorism – racism – out of control politics; nip it in the bud folks. The eventual long-range outcome will be a lot different and easier to control.
Meaning of nip it in the bud
Put a stop to something while it is still in its early development.
Origin
This phrase derives from the de-budding of plants. The earlier form of the phrase was ‘nip in the bloom’ and this is cited in Henry Chettle’s romance Piers Plainnes Seaven Yeres Prentiship, 1595:
“Extinguish these fond loues with minds labour, and nip thy affections in the bloome, that they may neuer bee of power to budde.”
A version of the current ‘bud’ version of the phrase first appears in 1607, in Beaumont and Fletcher’s comedy of manners Woman Hater (a title that they would probably have difficulty convincing a publishing house to use today):
“Yet I can frowne and nip a passion Euen in the bud.”
Nip those bad habits in the bud FOLKS. You will by proud of yourself, set a great example for those around you and fell a hell of a lot better.
On a little different note. I wonder how many weaklings broke their New Years resolution already??? I would bet 35% and we are only 2 days into 2016. By the end of January the number will be at least 75%.
