Spike is trying to put a spike in Oscar’s heart

Mr Lee and company are stirring the pot because they say there are not any non-white that are being nominated for an Oscar.

Maybe I am missing something. Isn’t it the objective of and the goal of our MODERN SOCIETY not to discriminate because of color – sex color or creed? If that is the intention, why are so many  instigators constantly shaking the color tree???

My dear old friend used to say; the son of a bitch  has a loaf of bread under each arm and is still bitching. 

The next time you go to a sporting event, especially basketball and football take a good look at what you see on the field or on the court. What is the percentage of non-white players do you see?

74.4 percent are black players. Why such a disparity? Possibly the black players in sports are better athletes or the whites guys are too lazy to get out there and exert themselves.  Orrrrrr if you ask some racists, they may tell you that professional sports are racists against white FOLKS. You know it does work both ways.

It is like joining the military. No one goes into the military as a 5 Star General, they go in as a private in the enlisted ranks or a 2nd Lt. in the officers ranks. From there if they work their little asses off, behave, follow the rules, are dedicated to the country, eventually they will move up the ladder of success.

Never in the history of the USA has there been the opportunity for minorities to advance themselves as there is now; if they  work their asses off, behave, follow the rules, are dedicated to the country, eventually they will move up the ladder of success.

Spike Lee and actress Jada Pinkett Smith each announced that they would not be attending the Feb. 28 ceremony. That is a good thing. There will be two empty seats for some honkies to sit in.

In this day and age of pathetic PC-ness and equality, the award institutions stand on their heads not to offend people of color or different religions. I disagree with their methodology. All people should be treated as equals if we ever want to get over the racial hurdle. If a person of any race excels in what you do, they deserve recognition. If not, suck it up and start working harder.  Remember my pet/key word EDUCATION.

The USA WAS supposed to be striving toward a colored blind society. We are going in the opposite direction. There are elements out there that keep throwing gasoline on the fire.

DO I agree that years back there were many injustices perpetrated on many races and nationalities in all walks of life? Yes, including the Italian. Polish, Irish, etc.. What did these  people do to gain their recognition and respect? They  worked their little asses off, behaved, followed the rules, were dedicated to the country, eventually they moved up the ladder of success.

If any person wants recognition and reach a particular level of achievement; they  have to work their little asses off, behave, follow the rules, be dedicated to their country, eventually they will move up the ladder of success.

Let us put the facts on the table. I can remember many incidents where non-whites were rewarded for their sub-par achievements just to appease them and many times test minimums were lowered for minorities so they could pass. The end result was; many white people that were more qualified were passed over so the governing body could MAKE IT’S QUOTA. Is that not reverse discrimination?

If I were a person taking the test for a fireman or a cop and the city because of their ignorance lowered the test requirements for me because of my circumstances; that would be an insult to me, knowing they thought I was not as competent as any other person.  As a matter of fact; hiring someone, especially in a position involved public safety; it is a hazard to the public having a person in place  that can not meet basic qualifications.

This is just one of the examples of what took place or is taking place around the country.

If there are not; as Mr. Lee claims, any non-whites being nominated for the Oscar, they must not deserve it.

I haven’t seen all of these movies but I did see Concussion and thought Will Smith played an Oscar winning role. But who am I?
