More shoppers buying ‘natural’ food, yet most don’t know what it means:
With many of the consumer products on the market today that the seller claim to be natural, they are just playing with words to con or
the public.
One of the deceptions I really love is AMISH made. When people think of the Amish people, they are drawn into the con because they think of clean wholesome people at live off the land – no power tools – no electricity – no pesticides for their crops, etc.
The consumer does not know that Rocco Esposito the huckster/farmer that claims he sells ALL NATURAL bought his produce from a farm in rural Bo Dunk, Texas that is located 100 yards from a chemical producing plant, where Rocco employs 1,000 Mexicans and wouldn’t know an Amish person if he tripped over one.
Same thing applies to HAND MADE AMISH furniture. Much of it is mass produced by a group of illegals from South America in the back of some warehouse in Detroit.
There is a shyster where I live that has a vegetable and fruit stand that looks similar to this picture. He and his family have been doing business there for years and do very well. He wants everyone to think that he is eating pasta fagoli every night. Always trying to put on the POOR MOUTH routine.

Every night when he closes up shop, his teen-aged wife picks him up in their Jag and they go home to their 15,000 s.f. crib. All part of the con.
Many health conscience shoppers out there are trying to do what is best for their families by not poisoning them with all of the chemicals that are used in raising animals and growing produce. They are being conned into buying foods that claim to be ALL NATURAL and are paying top buck in doing so.
It has been substantiated long ago that a large number of these claims are as bogus as a
.
The con artists use words like all natural – organic – free-range and other eye catching terms to try and deceive the public. So far they have been doing a good job. The following are some good examples.

Nutritian Wonderland
Myth: Organic Foods Are Free From Pesticides And Harmful Chemicals
In the past year or two, certified organic sales have jumped around 30% to about $52 billion (2008 dollars) worldwide despite the fact that organic foods cost up to three times as much as those produced by conventional methods.
The number one reason that I hear as to why to eat organic foods is that they have no pesticides or harmful compounds. I hate to burst your bubble, but that’s simply not true. Organic farming, just like other forms of agriculture, still uses pesticides and fungicides to prevent critters from destroying their crops.
I am not suggesting that ALL of the producers are fabricating their claims but there are a significant number of them out there that are hosing the gullible public with their bogus claims.
Lets face it FOLKS. We are all at in the same predicament. If you are waiting for the government to make a move toward making a more healthy environment for us to live in; we better get that train load of Ex-lax to DC ASAP. As we all know, none of their body functions move too fast, except one. It is located in between their chin and nose.

Buyer beware. The products you are buying in the specialty stores that state the NATURAL claims, for the most part are no better than what is sold in a standard market.
Rinse everything you purchase with cold water (no soap) including the meat you buy before you refrigerate it. You wouldn’t get all of the harmful chemicals off of but you will get rid of most of them. What is inside the product is another story.
How long do you want to live anyway???
