The Goomba Gazette Sunday edition:
Scaila’s replacement:

I will give everyone two guesses as to what caliber of person Obama is going to replace Scaila with in the vacant Supreme Court seat.
Against all tradition, logic, protocol and recommendations given to Obama, that the vacant seat should be filled with the incoming president; you can bet all the chagodias you have he will make the appointment before he leaves office.

Obama hasn’t listened to any since he has been in the big seat, except his unqualified advisers, why should he start now. As a matter of fact, just to be contrary, if it was recommended to him that he DID appointed someone before he left office he would probably say; awy, let the next guy do it.
Second guess; is the person he will appoint to the LIFETIME job going to be a ultra-liberal wack job or a conservative?? You can bet your last pound of capacola that it will not be someone that mirrors Scaila’s philosophies. To a liberal that is like asking them to eat rancid liver.

It has been my contention for years; there is no job or position in any government sector that should be for appointed for life; whether it is man like Scaila or not.
The true function of the Supreme Court justices is supposed to be impartial and non-partisan in the manner they interpret the law, according to the way it was intended and the way it was written. That has not been the case.
Their decisions are final. They do tend to lean toward the ideologies of the person that appointed them. That is why Obama and all the rest of the presidents put in THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
What justifies that free ride (lifetime job)and what is their motivation to be expedient with their decisions if they know they can not get fired. The only thing that may possibly slower than a Supreme Court decisions is a senior citizen scooter race and that would be a toss up.
In a broad sense of the example; it is very unfortunate that the kids growing up in this thing we call a modern society will never experience the good life we enjoyed 50 – 60- 70 years ago when everyone was in the same boat. There was no peer pressure. The term didn’t exist. We we all poor but we were happy.
In my opinion, advancement are only beneficial if they have a positive effect on society. That has not been the case.
Take back my cell phone – take back my computer – take it all. I would give it ALL up to go back in time to a more safe, civilized, humane, honorable, respectable and sensible way of life. But then my soap box will be taken away.

Any and all actions are interconnected and have an effect on all situations/conditions directly or indirectly.
A person would have had to have lived in the old days to appreciate it.
We might be better off if we could get the guy with the hairdo an early release so him could work on selling the vacant seat. Probably won’t do much worse.
