The release of prisoners from Gitmo and the impending closing of this very useful, effective and unique facility that has inadvertently kept the USA and other countries safe for many years by keeping terrorist and the worst of the worst locked up, it is total insanity.

If this is an example of the democratic party’s, lead by Barrack Obama, interpretation of logic and a common-sense methods to combat terrorism; if so, I am totally baffled by their very dangerous, in-explainable actions, that without common-sense forethought as to their decisions consequences and totally disregard for the safety of the American people and the rest of the world, what the release of some of these people will result in.
I heard on the news this morning (if it was true) that one of the reason Obama is so adamant about closing the doors on Gitmo; he does not want to insult or create ill feelings between himself and the Muslim community. This that one for the record books or what????
Is this a war we are in with the terrorists or a popularity contest??? What does it take; based on accurate statistics available to get across to Obama that these are extremely dangerous people he is releasing back into their previous environment??
Should the USA be held accountable for any crimes these people committed after their release?
How can anyone release such ultra-dangerous people, knowing that they will and have positively returned to their prior dedications of terrorism, admittedly determined to wipe out all people in the world that do not espouse to their fanatical philosophies.
It is incomprehensible that the president of the United States is so misguided that he would sanction such a detrimental move putting everyone in the path of these terrorists at risk. There can not be any plausible explanation for this move.

As of September 3 2015 only Six of 121 Guantanamo detainees released after Obama took office in 2009 have been confirmed as “re-engaging” in terrorist or insurgent violence, the assessment found, a rate of 4.9%. In March, the rate was 5.2%, for six detainees out of 115 released by Obama. Last September, the rate was 6.8%, for six out of 88 detainees released.
I say that one percent is too much. How many people does it take to detonate a suicide bomb??
When any president take the Oath of Office, this is what he says; —“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
Well!!!!!
Even the most liberal minded people in this country should be able to see the shortfalls of such a controversial and dangerous move.
