Last night I watched an episode on Vice an HBO series and it was heart wrenching. Anyone that could watch the plight of these people and not have compassion, they do not have a heart.

Be that as it may; as much as we fell sorry for the refugees, countries have to come to the realization that at this time in the history of the world, it is survival of the fittest.

I don’t think there is anyone (except a few politicians that live on Knob Hill that would not affected by this)  that has any common-sense, would deprive their own family of it’s safety, health and well-being and bring complete strangers from a different country, that has different customs, into the home on a permanent or semi-permanent basis.

Bearing in mind; in the mix of these desperate people ARE criminals that are sworn to take down the United States and the rest of the world.  They can not be distinguished one from anther, they all look the same.

Let us not forget that Syria is the biggest breeding ground for terrorists in the world.

As bad as I felt watching that segment, there is no way I would put my family in harms way and allow refugees into my country or home unless they were scrutinized/vetted individually to the max from the day they were born.

It is a very sad commentary on mankind to say that our civilized society’s has fallen into this deep dark hole of desperation for some people.  But these are the cold hard facts of life and survival.

I don’t know if the program Vice is slanted one way or another but it is a real eye opener on many topics and very interesting to watch, if you have a good stomach.
