The only road to success and the development of positive social and personal skills is; through EDUCATION.
Here is a school that is putting their motto where their mouth is.
St. Benedict’s empowers students and sees results
Their school motto is “Whatever hurts my brother hurts me” and their graduation rate is 98 percent. Scott Pelley reports on a unique school in Newark. I am sure in that message, they are not differentiating between races.
I have been on my soap box for years preaching EDUCATION – EDUCATION – EDUCATION.

I am elated to see that there are some very proactive people out there that care about their kids future and share my opinion on EDUCATION. It is the ONLY way out of the deep dark pit some kids are in today.
It is too bad that our governments leaders don’t put more of their effort and tax-payers money into initiatives like this rather than buttering their own bread.
I think one reason we don’t see many government sponsored programs like this; 1st they have to do a 6 year study – hire a dozen education czars – have a couple conventions that cost a few million each before they can gear up for something of this magnitude.
Meanwhile some little school in The Garden State put this together with ease, a very few dollars and a wing and a prayer. No governmental red tape
Keep it up Saint Benedict’s; maybe some of your wisdom will rub off on these political rum-dumbs.
