Outrage over six-month sentence in Stanford rape case

Some wacked out judge in California named Aaron Persky gave a punk kid Brock Turner, a Stanford University swimmer,  a six month sentence for raping a girl that was passed out cold.

His Dis-honor said on that Turner’s age and lack of criminal history made him feel that imposing a six-month jail sentence with probation was appropriate.

There are many people with no prior criminal history that commit horrendous crimes. The  lack of  a criminal history should not be a factor.

What if is was his daughter that got raped???

Is this another example of a judge on the take or is he just an idiot?

With all of the promiscuity in colleges these days, there is absolutely no need for raping someone. These days many young foolish young girls are passing around their bodies not only in college but as a common practice, like a sampler plate at a fondue party.  What is to be expected when mothers are buying their 13 year old daughters birth control devices?

Instead of telling them to abstain they tell them to be careful. Totally irresponsible.

That irresponsible decision by the judge has to be  a real download (4) to the victim and her family.

This is a very unusual and out of line statement made by the rapist’s father:

I do not see one comment made by Turner senior condemning his son’s actions.  It is all about his poor kid.

I see that the family has started a collection on Facebook for their kids defense expenses. That is sending a great message to all the other kids in the country.  Is anyone taking up a collection for the victim??

On the other side of the coin, this girl should have never put herself in such a precarious position.  It doesn’t take much to spark off some horney dude when they see a defenseless women.

It is about time the PC permissive parents in this country start making their brats accountable for their actions instead of coddling them.  History always repeats itself. Take a look at the Affluenza Kid and so many others that have been protected by their parents. What is the person learning from their crime, that it is OK?  Mommy and Daddy will bail them out.

The maximum sentence for rape is 6 years in the Sun Shine State, that is what the rapist should have been given. People seem to forget that years back, rape was punishable by death.

I made an observation quite sometime ago that would eliminate all of the affluenza cases and keep the crooked or idiotic judges that are on the take in check. There should be a national guideline be set up for all criminal offenses, where the sentence is the same in Alaska as it would be in Hawaii.  Case closed. No bargaining – kick backs – affluenza – pampering or special privileges of the upper class or celebs.

I know; that solution is too simple. Government never looks for the simple solution. They always complicate matters to give the illusion they are working hard.

I also believe that any incompetent judges that come down with outlandish rulings like this should be immediately stripped of the robes,  someone whack them in the head  with their gavel and then have the book be thrown at them.

There can be a  solution to a multitude of  crimes on college campuses. Outlaw drinking completely.  After all; what are kid sent to college for, an education or a 4 year beer blast?

None of the colleges  want to touch the issue with a 10 foot yardstick, it might impact their bottom lines.  Needless to say, colleges are a very big business.

Hey, you never know… I have heard of people posting bond through others, then the criminal turns up with a gunshot in the chest, dead. Strange things happen, all the time. Hmmm…
