Pakistani woman burns daughter alive for eloping

Talk about barbaric; this MOTHER is one heartless MOTHER and a very evil person. How can anyone do that to their child or anyone else??

A Pakistani mother burns her 16-year-old daughter alive for marrying a man of her own choice,  claiming the daughter  shamed her family.

It is hard to comprehend that in 2016 that any religion or any other organization would practice and permit this kind of barbarism.

Police say the mother, Parveen, tied her daughter Zeenat to a cot and poured kerosene on her and then set her on fire.

This kind of savagery is nothing new in Pakistan and in some other Muslim countries.  There are hundreds of girls killed each year in what they call honor killings.  WOW.

I remember a couple of years ago a Muslim guy that drove a cab, took both of his daughters for a supposed ride. Pulled the cab over and shot them both dead because they were dating boys that were not Muslim. And yes, it happened in the USA.

This fool said he would do it all over again and has no regrets.

Many of these crimes in their native countries go unpunished.

I would think in this day and age, some religions  would have to rethink some of their archaic teachings.
