How wise was the choice The Trumpster made for his VP position??
After all of the beatings Trump has taken because of poor choices; I am wondering if his VP choice was a matter of desperation??

1) Pence used to be a conservative outsider — but the Republican Party has moved toward him
2) Mike Pence is really, really anti-abortion and a longtime critic of Planned Parenthood
3) Last year, Pence was at the center of intense controversy over whether Indiana’s “religious freedom” law was anti-LGBTQ
4) Mike Pence supported Obamacare’s Medicaid expansion
5) Mike Pence backed Cruz in the primaries but made it very clear he also thought Trump was great
6) Just 16 years ago, Mike Pence was still arguing that “smoking doesn’t kill”
7) Mike Pence was in danger of losing reelection for governor this year
To me, there seems to b a few issues that are not very complimentary to the prospective Republican VP. It appears that Trump picked Pence because of his demeanor, to take some of the heat off of himself he created with the republican party’s hierarchy.
In my opinion, he should have focused on someone who is more popular with the voters that will make or break him. His running mate has to appeal to voters on all sides of the aisle, not just the big wigs. As it stands now, the big boys are still very much against Trump and it doesn’t seem to me they are going to budge anytime soon. Like trying to please a spoiled kid. No matter what you give them, they are never satisfied.
Pence appears to me to be a very blase person with not much of a personality. People that serve in the public spotlight have to have a very outgoing personality. Sad to say, many of the foolish voters care more about what the candidates old lady or old man looks like – where they buy they buy their clothes – how good looking they are. rather than being concerned about their qualifications.
If it were my choice; I may have chosen Marco Rubio instead. At least Rubio could bring in the support from the Hispanic communities that The Trumpster trashed. Marco seems to do well under fire as he demonstrated in the debates, unlike the presumptive. That is an excellent character trait.

I still admire Trump’s tenacity but it is how it comes at times out that needs to be polished up a bit. You have to admire a person that is a fighter and will stand up for what they believe in regardless of the outcome.
Big issue. According to item # 7, Pence was in jeopardy of losing his race for governor this time around. No one likes to have a loser on their team.
# 4; Pence supported the expansion of Obamacare (the unaffordable health care plan), one issue Trump has been hot and heavy on eliminating. These people change the positions on issues like I change my skivvies.
# 6; Sometime back Pence was still arguing that smoking doesn’t kill people. How smart can the guy be or was he getting his palm greased by the tobacco companies????
The hypocrisy of politics has always amused me. The only thing they do not do in a debate, yet, is beat each other with ball bats – after the fact, they hug and kiss one another.

The election is going to be the most critical one in our history since the guys with the ponytails first voted. The USA is either going to go into a deeper, darker hole than it is already if Bill’s bride get the nod (She is very adamant in carrying on Obama’s legacy) or optimistically, with the right people on his team and he listens to them (VP is questionable already) Trump can bring the country back out of the brink of destruction.

I still say, at the very least Bill’s bride should be brought up on perjury charges.

Selection of Michael Pence, for vice president is a major blunder.
