Singer says 76ers nixed her National Anthem performance over ‘We Matter’ jersey
Glad to see the 76’s have some balls and not only the ones they dribble.
Sevyn Streeter was wearing a black jersey with the words “We Matter” sprawled across the front and was slated to sing the National Anthem; until.

“I’d say two minutes before we were about to walk out … the organization told me that I could not wear my shirt while singing the national anthem at their game,” the R&B singer told the Associated Press. “I was never given any kind of dress code. I was never asked beforehand to show my wardrobe.” I wonder if she ever heard of the words respect and common sense???
The pissed off princess left out one significant word in between we and matters – ALL.
Playing stupid didn’t cut it for this signifying lady. The 76 er pulled her act and had some respectful ladies that were dressed appropriately sign the National Anthem.
I fell terrible for the damsel in distress. The dishonorable crooner was upset by the team’s decision to sideline her act and sit her on the bench. “I was angry, extremely, extremely angry and disappointed and honestly brought to tears by all of it. It broke my heart,” she said. “Honestly, I was very excited about being able to perform the national anthem. I was really looking forward to that.” She forgot to mention a couple of important things; making a fool out of herself and an embarrassment to the team and our country.
It would not surprise me in the least if the benched crooner sues the team for making her look bad. Well.
Possibly, if Johnnie Cochran didn’t have the sod pulled over his face; he may have jumped right on something like it. He saved a scum bag that he knew was a monstrous killer, this would have been a slam dunk.

Today, 10-27-16 the 76 ers gets a couple of gold stars for good old fashion common sense and patriotism.

For all of the clowns in the sporting world that do not have any balls, take notice. It can be done very easily if you have the goolunies.
Don’t forget
