Clinton Global Initiative to lay off employees, shut down amid dwindling donations
The Clintons are moving ahead with plans to downsize their controversial foundation’s network of offshoots, a decision carried out as the powerful family’s political influence wanes and its once-lengthy donor list shrinks.
There are a couple of old saying that comes into play here. It is not what you did for me yesterday, what can you do for me tomorrow – out of sight, out of ca$h – when your usefulness has terminated, so will you be.
Anyone with any sense should know; especially in the worlds of big business and politics, relationships can last as long as both parties can do the other some good. As soon as one side or the other’s usefulness dwindles, someone on the other team hits the delete button and they are history.
With the downfall/shame/embarrassment/defeat of the Clinton Machine losing the election, the majority of their donors will disappear faster than Mitt Romney’s relationship with DT lasted.
A vast majority of all donations are made only for what the donor can get in return. When the recipient can not come up shooting, so goes the relationship and the donations.
I really hate to see good people get kicked in their teeth when they are down but in this situation, I can’t say I feel bad for them.
This has to be one of the most apropos cases of poetic justice I have ever seen which has befallen the Clintons’ for all of their very questionable activities tied into their foundation. We can say with certainty, Mr. Karma has come a knocking at their door.
There are so many articles on illicit ties and donations to the Clinton foundation, they are too many to list.
I know Wild Bill and Hillary will not be missing any meals on account of the downsizing but it has to be a real letdown to be so powerful one day and the next, when they make a call, the person on the other end say, Bill and Hillary who??
It always happens to those that are trying to beat the system. Sooner or later their day of reckoning comes. I reckon the Clinton’s are getting their taste now.
