Ayaan Hirsi Ali criticized what she considered the “apologetic attitude” some liberals around the world have toward identifying the religious component to Islamic terrorism.
Ali, a women rights activist who was raised Muslim in Somalia but later became an apostate, called such a mindset “masochistic and stupid.”
She said on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that radical Islamic terrorists “don’t go to liberals and say thank you so much, we’ll stop terrorizing you” because of some on the left refuse to identify terrorism’s religious component.
I have always maintained that many brutal people, especially the bullies in the world, often mistake kindness and compassion for weakness and stupidity.
Why some people in this world can not/will not put the label radical Islamic terrorists where it belongs is beyond me. As Ms. Ali said, ” that radical Islamic terrorists “don’t go to liberals and say thank you so much, we’ll stop terrorizing you” because of some on the left refuse to identify terrorism’s religious component.
I think one of the major hang-ups with the do-gooders, they do not want to accept the seriousness of terrorism as to how severe it is. They are living in a fantasy world and still believe in the Tooth Fairy.
Law of the land; put the label where it belongs. Or they can invite them in for dinner and may be the main course.
