Ex-Penn St president guilty of 1 count of child endangerment:

Should have been a lot more.

I have always maintained; who is worse, the sick in the head pedophile or the people that protect them.  In the long run, it may be the protectors that should be held most accountable.

 Former Penn State president Graham Spanier was convicted Friday of hushing up suspected child sex abuse by Jerry Sandusky in 2001.

Spanier was found guilty after 13 hours of deliberation by the jury on one count of child endangerment over his handling of a complaint against Sandusky when he was an assistant football coach at Penn State but found him not guilty of conspiracy and a second child endangerment count.

People like Spanier, Joe Paterno, all the priests, bishops, cardinals, and popes that turned a blind eye and deaf ear to the degenerates under their supervision that were molesting kids, could have prevented many more incidents from happening if they would have reported them sooner.

All of the cover-ups revolved around two reasons; money and keeping it out of the news.  Those two items alone cost 10’s of 1,000’s of kids to continue to suffer from the monsters, because the people that could have prevented the incidents did not report them.

I say they got what they deserved. The sad thing is, how many got away with it because of their protectors and how many scum-bag perverts are still out there racking up their perverted desires on young kids.

I am anxious to see what kind of penalty Spanier gets.

One of the biggest shockers for me was Pa Pa Joe Paterno, a man who did so many great things for the younger generations that crossed his path but because of kind of ridiculous sense of loyalty, the only thing he is most remembered for is his silence.
