Chipotle says malware hack stole customer payment info
Let see. They started out as a Mexican eatery, until they made 100’s of people across the country sick.
There had a series of outbreaks involving E. coli, salmonella, and norovirus at Chipotle restaurants in cities nationwide. The outbreaks are collectively responsible for sickening at least 500 people.

Two separate E. coli outbreaks sickened more than 60 customers at Chipotle restaurants in 14 states late last year.
In August 2014, a norovirus outbreak linked to a Simi Valley, California, Chipotle restaurant in August 2014 sickened about 230 customers, according to public records obtained by Food Safety News. Another norovirus outbreak in Boston last year sickened more than 200 people and salmonella-tained tomatoes at 22 Chipotle restaurants in Minnesota were responsible for sickening 64 people.
They paid some of the people that got sick with free burritos. I don’t know if I would have taken the chance of eating them.
In 2016, possibly in desperation, they started pushing burgers trying to find a new niche.

If they didn’t have bad luck, they wouldn’t have any at all. Now some hungry hackers stole all of their customers credit card information. Holy Hamburger Batman!!
I don’t have an answer for the Mexican burger joint is, except, maybe get into selling cars or something. They seem to be beating their heads against the wall in the restaurant department.

I can’t believe that they are still doing business after such a poor track record.
Bon Appetit you all!!
