President calls for barring immigrants from welfare for five years
If the USA is willing to take that gigantic forward, it would save the country over $103 billion in welfare benefits per year.
The Heritage Foundation
- Direct benefits. These include Social Security, Medicare, unemployment insurance, and workers’ compensation.
- Means-tested welfare benefits. There are over 80 of these programs which, at a cost of nearly $900 billion per year, provide cash, food, housing, medical, and other services to roughly 100 million low-income Americans. Major programs include Medicaid, food stamps, the refundable Earned Income Tax Credit, public housing, Supplemental Security Income, and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families.
- Public education. At a cost of $12,300 per pupil per year, these services are largely free or heavily subsidized for low-income parents.
- Population-based services. Police, fire, highways, parks, and similar services, as the National Academy of Sciences determined in its study of the fiscal costs of immigration, generally have to expand as new immigrants enter a community; someone has to bear the cost of that expansion.
The cost of these governmental services is far larger than many people imagine. For example, in 2010, the average U.S. household received $31,584 in government benefits and services in these four categories.

That was 5 years ago. The total figure of welfare for an immigrant family now exceeds $36,000.00 per year. Where is the incentive to work?
The Federal minimum wage is $7.25

Members of Congress work fewer than half of the days in any given year, But those account for only the “legislative days,” defined as any official meeting of the legislative body to do the people’s business. The House works about one day out of three, and the Senate works a little more than that, according to federal records.
Not bad when the starting pay for the political parasites is $174,000.00 a year.
Lets put this into perspective. The federal minimum wage for the average Joe Blow is $7.25 per hour. The average pay for a senator or congressman is $83.36, based on working 40 hours a week. Coupled with the fact, they only work half the time that they are paid for; not to mention all the free-bees they get. No wonder everyone on the planet wants to be a politician!!
Always the corker. When the pampered brat are FORCED to work, they do not accomplish anything. It is humiliating.
The prima-donnas should get two weeks vacation a year after 2 years of service, not allowed to taken when there are pressing issues to deal with.
PDT is trying to put an end to much of this government abuse but the Boulder Rollers do not want to co-operate.

The way it should really be. ALL government employees should be compelled by law to have the same benefits, social security, hospitalization and so forth as all the the citizens in this country have. Are they telling us they are special people and deserve special treatment?? That is the way it appears to me.
If we put everything in this country that can be improved on in a nut shell; the USA has an almost insurmountable amount of work to do. We will never see any major progress in those directions, because the duds that write the laws are its biggest offenders.
It is an absolute disgrace that tighter reins can not be put on the political parasites. At least – at least – at least; if they earned their pay by accomplishing something, that would help stop the bleeding.
Like in any other corporation in the world; they do not perform, show them the exit door. Only minus is; the politicians would vote on their own demise.
I would say to ALL of the American people; support PDT and see where it takes us. We are in such bad shape now, if we ALL put in the effort, the only direction we can go is up.
Quoting The Donald in his campaign; WHAT DO WE HAVE TO LOSE???
